Maggie,

Very pretty. I did the same thing as you. Ran out first thing in the morning with the camera to try to get all of it captured before it melted. It would have been nice if it had stayed another day since it was on the weekend. But alas, this is Texas and the weather is ever changing. Your Lenten Rose looks great. I would love to try some but don't have a sheltered spot for them yet. You did a good job of not having any snowy footprints in your pics. It all looks virgin. Thanks for sharing your pictures with all of us.

I just realized,,, left off the Come Stroll link.

You must have missed all those kitty paw prints up the red steps, Becky :-)
But I did manage to beat the kids out the door, teehee. Feeling more romantic than snowman-inclined, they made this in honor of the day...
cold heart

Since its half melted in the water at that point, I'd better explain its a snowheart. Romance over, snowball wars soon began.

Can you believe it - the air was 70*F today, so soon after our little winter wonderland!
What our poor plants must contend with.

BTW,, Costco has fab prices on packaged summer bulbs and bare root perennials. Well,,,, the SW Ft. Worth store did have a huge stock of them before I went back for a second plantaholic frenzy. Now if I can just get them all planted before next fall :-} eek
