I must admit to doing some transplanting nearly year-round, since I must do it everytime I work on a bed. And I am always trying to get some work done on some bed, somewhere at any one time. There never seems to be enough free daylight hours to do all the gardening I crave to do!

You may have noticed a new cat in the garden in this Stroll's picies.
Noble
I'll explain on the Garden Cats thread.

I like all your galvanized planters! Just the other day I was noticing some old galvanized buckets down by the coal furnace we no longer use. You can imagine what my first thoughts were -"new garden containers!" :)

Tonight's temps are going to be in the 20's. Today's high was low 40's with misty rain all day - brrrrr, so its a good thing those new garden containers haven't been planted yet. I brought in my 32+ containers that I had out in the cold frame. Hopefully this will be our last really cold spell.

TWENTYs?!?! Gosh, we've had a 'cold front' here too MK. But our kind comes as a delight - for it to stay in the 70's all day long!! It has been a wonderful week. Some years we are already in the 90's by the end of May. I hope this means we might have a mild summer for a change, but I won't hold my breath !

The plant in the bucket may look familiar to you MK. It is the white nepeta - Which is why Nobel is parked there, looking guilty. And yes, he did manage to do it in already :(

Don't think I could stand winter in May, I thought our summers were short.
