My favorite way to tag plants.
And there I was thinking you had an infallable memory.
Wish I was half as organised as you are, lost count of the bulbs that get transplanted by accident.
If I knew you thought I did, I may not have owned up ! But must admit I never seem to get ALL of them marked as well as is needed and sometimes even the stake markers get raked or kicked out and composted before I find them again. :-(
Then the surprise finds end up getting sliced by the shovel , or as in your experience, unknowingly transplanted too
The stake markers are a great idea. I've been using them for several years, trying to put them into the garden at the same time I plant anything. The animals seem to leave them alone, unlike the plastic plant markers which dogs, cats, and turkeys seem to think are toys.
In spite of Terry's teasing :-), the tags actually make plant names sink in to the gray cells, don't they?
