Nice article and pics. Amazing how large that area looks from a birds-eye view. I was so looking forward to the pineapple sage this year. Sadly, the grasshoppers found it a gourmet treat.

I leaned out my office window to take it. Couldn't get all of it in the frame.

Let's hope we have enough freeze this winter to take of that hopper problem around here.

Doesn't sound like we will have to wait very long for our first good freeze. Everyone in our area watch the weather closely this week and have your garden covers ready.

Today's high was 74 and tomorrow's is expected to be in the 40's. Then the Artic blast comes in tomorrow night - even with a chance of falling frozen stuff
needless to say, I spent the entire day doing enjoyable things outside. taking pics, deadheading, picking bouquets, tea sipping, wandering around enjoying the last lovely day of the year.
