Sept has been a killer month of record breaking temps - several days over 100, with the average being 94 until today. Finally, we had a brief taste of the lovely season. What luxury! I've had a rack full of plants in need of planting but couldn't bear to dig in the heat - that plus the extreme humidity have been suffocating.

Fortunately, MK sent a pic last week that reminded me that autumn does really exist in Sept in some parts of the world.

On the first offical day of fall, her mountain was showing its first signs of the season colors to come.
