Rufous-sided Towhee, perched on weeping mulberry and described in Dec. 19, 1998 entry of the COME STROLL page.
It was the first year of their residence in our garden.

Doves only moved into our area around 1995 for the first time, and are now permanent features.
Brown Thrashers first began making winter visits a few years ago.
What appears to be a redheaded sparrow clan took up residence in the late 90's. They are Purple Finch.
It is always exciting to catch the occasional visiting Northern Flickers feeding on the lawn.
