Four arched lines of the roadside Tawny day lily are each centered with a clump of Achellia `Gold Plate´. Once there were several hardy hibiscus flanking the four rose trunks for later summer color, but the site is just too dry for them now. I am attempting to replace the hibiscus with some lavender -- there can never be enough of it.
